Life After Stroke Recovery Day Program


The Life After Stroke (LAS) Recovery Program is located at DBIS’ Nigel and Rhonda Gilby Centre For New Tomorrows (CNT) in London, ON and offers the opportunity for ongoing rehabilitation in a program that is goal directed, recovery focused and includes: physical exercise, thinking & memory stimulation, health & wellness education, social/recreation activities. 

Program staff are trained and supported by specialized stroke teams with knowledge of best practice stroke care. The program is offered on Wednesdays from 10am-3pm.  Program length varies according to client goals and needs.  

Clients must be a minimum 18 years of age, no upper age limit.

How to Apply

Applications and referrals for this program are sent to DBIS by the Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team at Parkwood Hospital. This program is intended to support individuals who have had recent strokes in their continued rehabilitation and recovery.
