Justice Case Management

Provides opportunities to individuals with an acquired brain injury who are involved with the justice system to reduce their chances of re-offending through the following support services:

• Court Diversion
• Support client to develop and comply with their individualized support/treatment plan
• Provide court-based follow-up to diverted individuals
• Provide update to the Crown Attorney advising whether the client has complied with diversion program
• Case Management
• Provide support in the community
• Provide advocacy and make referrals (housing, financial, counselling, community supports, etc.)
• Support individuals to facilitate the Justice System
• Services may include: accompanying the client to obtain legal aid, a health card and/or other documents, assisting clients to procure social assistance and to secure housing, assisting clients with activities of daily living, escorting clients to medical appointments and rehabilitative programs, providing treatment and counselling for identified issues
• Court Support and Consultation
• Support individuals through the court process
